Latest work from my travels in Tallin, Estonia and Istanbul, August-September 2015

Russian Church, Tallin, Estonia  Tallin is the capitol of Estonia and a World Heritage Site.  It was part of the Hanseatic League and an important port.  Its streets are lined with fabulous old buildings.  The Russian border is just 200k to the east.   pen and ink A3/11.5 x 16.5" $150 (unframed)

Topkapi Palace, Istanbul  The Palace dates from 1465, the major residence of the Sultans.  Seen from across the bay.  This is a miniature, 4" x 6" acrylics $50

 

Hagia Sophia, Istanbul.   Built circa 550, converted to a mosque circa 1550 and a museum since 1931.  This is a miniature, 4" x 6" acrylics $50
