From our safaris in Tanzania and Zambia

Here are the water colors I did in my journal during our trip. The journal is called "The Heart of Lightness" It is about the uplifting times we had in Zambia, and on the two day train ride from Tanzania. Beans and Bowl (prints only)

The Zambians eat a lot of beans. Here's some from an English breakfast in one of the hostals we stayed at in Lusaka, the capitol.

We traveled down a path for an hour or more in the dark, our way lit only by the moon. Our luggage had been strapped to the back of a bike. This is the sketch I did the next day.
